Meet Renee

Hello, my name is Renee Sterrett, and I would like to explain why I want to work as a functional nutritionist counselor. God encouraged me to study health and nutrition from the moment he trusted me with bettering my own health, and I eventually used the knowledge I acquired to advocate for healthier lifestyles for both myself and other people.

Along the way My enthusiasm for health and wellness increased after I earned my health education degree from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York, and earned my Board certification from The Functional Nutrition Alliance School. Whether it's for illness prevention, weight management, sports performance, or overall well-being, I like helping people make dietary changes that will improve their health for longevity.

Eventually, as a health practitioner, I organize wellness retreats and conduct several health programs. I truly cherish the ability and capacity God has given me to assist others. Serving others, in my opinion, is our ultimate goal in life.

My background in teaching comes from earning a state certification from the New York Board of Education after earning a master's degree in early childhood education, in addition to my health degrees and certifications. I spent 29 years as a teacher. In order to work as a school assistant principal or in a principalship, l also obtained a master's degree in administration.

As a teacher, I loved the students and gave them my all, as God had commanded. As a track coach, I enjoyed improving the children's self-esteem, teaching them sportsmanship, encouraging them to respect one another, teaching them hygiene, focusing on life skills, and educating them to partake in healthy food choices to serve their bodies well.

I was proud to report that 99 percent of my students received full-track scholarships to the institution of their choosing upon graduating from high school.

 

In my spare time, I enjoy reading the Bible, playing chess, composing poetry and songs, playing spades, learning to play the piano, singing, and shopping.
